About

Hello, I'm Ben! I am a videographer that makes uniquely cinematic wedding films to memorialise your special day, without stealing you away from your own wedding.

 

I have previously been the primary video shooter for the wonderful wedding photography company Atlas & Munro, hence you may see my work watermarked appropriately.

My Approach

I believe your wedding day is best spent with your guests, and

most importantly, your partner.

 

I respect the importance of your wedding day and how finite your time is.

 I film you, and your guests, without intruding on the day's activities. Like a fly on the wall, I am there to capture the wonderful moments that occur; the candid smiles, the tears of joy and the silly dancing. 

 

I utilise the time you have with your photographer, shooting those special moments you have with your partner, away from the chaos of the day. This means I get to have time

filming you, without having a video specific shoot.

What makes me different?

I am film-school trained. When I'm not shooting weddings I make music videos, short films, commercial content and more. My video skills are thorough and diverse meaning I know how to make truly cinematic footage through shooting, editing and colour grading.

Others may create videos that are more akin to documentaries or a reality shows. However, the videos I create for you are films. They consist of beautiful, bite-sized moments that come together to form a living, breathing memory of your special day.

Basic Film Bundle

£1255

Within this bundle you get:

MAIN FILM:

A 8-13 minute film that shows the highlights the day;

the getting ready, ceremony, some of the evening shenanigans.

Loads of beautiful, bite-sized moments stitched together to create a

living memory of the day.

​

SHORT FILM:

A short 1- 4 minute edit of the MAIN FILM, which is nicely sized for

sharing with family and putting on your socials.

​

SCREENGRABS:

A collection of screengrabs (5-10) from MAIN FILM. The images are great for sharing on

socials and highlighting special moments.

NOTE. This is not a replacement to your photographer, you'll still definitely want one!

Add Ons

Then you can tag on some Add Ons if you feel any would benefit you!

Second Shooter​

I can't be in two places at once, so naturally there may be some moments missed. A second person filming means more can be captured. Great for large weddings

Cost: £400

Speeches FILM​

Have all the speeches filmed and edited to create a Film that allows you to revisit the wedding speeches. 

 

Cost: £150

Go Pro Cam​

Have a GoPro for the day! Give it to your best-man, a friend, the granny or anyone! Record what you like, go behind the scenes, see another side of your wedding day! You keep the GoPro until the next day and post it back to me. With the footage I will create a short Go-Pro film or/and add GoPro footage to the MAIN FILM.

Super8​

 Super8 is an older, film medium of recording. It has a very unique aesthetic and was mainly used for home videos in the 70s, 80s, 90s. It feels very nostalgic, intimate and raw. I believe it is a great addition to any wedding film, adding a unique touch. PLEASE NOTE: I am trialling this Add On. The quality of Super8 footage cannot be guaranteed, hence the reduced trial cost.

Physical Delivery​

I deliver via an online link, where you can download the Films. However, there is something special about having a physical copy, that being a DVD or a USB stick.

PLEASE NOTE: I am trialling this Add On. I am happy to discuss delivery formats and methods, hence not set price.

Additional Costs

I am flexible. I am more than happy to speak with you about any ideas you have or your non-negotiable needs from your wedding film. However, this may affect the cost as it may require additional equipment, time or another shooter.

  • How do I book you?
    Drop me an email! I love to have a video call pre-booking if possible so we can discuss over my services and have a chat about your wedding. If you want to go ahead, then I take a 15% deposit to lock in the date in my calendar.
  • Do you just make one film?
    Within the BASIC FILM BUNDLE I create two films: No. 1 8-13 minute film that shows the highlights the day; the getting ready, ceremony, some of the evening shenanigans - loads of beautiful, bite-sized moments. No. 2 A short 2-4 minute edit of film No.1 that nicely sized for sharing with family and putting on socials. Then with Add Ons I can create more films such as GoPro Films, Super8 Film, Speeches FILM.
  • How far in advance should I contact you?
    As soon as you know. Depending on my availability, I can take bookings for the next week! Just drop me a message!
  • Are you able to travel?
    Yes! I am Bristol based. I often travel to South West, South, London. I will also happily travel to the rest of the UK for an additional fee for travel/accommodation.
  • What is the charge for travelling?
    Free within 1 hour of central Bristol. If your venue is further, I will charge the cost of mileage/transport fee. Additional fees if travel is needed on a different day from your wedding.
  • Can I choose my own music?
    Your films are edited to music. Unfortunately I cannot use most tracks you would have heard off due to copyright laws. I do however have access to great music from lesser known artists. I use music that fits your wedding style. Alternatively, I can give you access to the library so you can choose some tunes.
  • Do you do photography?
    Yes and no. I do shoot still photography, but not for weddings! For wedding photography I regularly work with several photographers. I would be more than happy to recommend you someone who I work well with and that suit your style.
  • How do you charge extra time?
    I usually film for the entire wedding day, or at least until 30 minutes after the first dance. I am flexible regarding working times, but I do prefer to have the start and end times pre-agreed. If I am needed for longer than the time that pre-agreed, there may be a small, reasonable fee.
  • How do you take payment?
    Payment via bank transfer. I will invoice a 15% deposit to secure the date. Then the remainder of the total will need to be paid at least week before your wedding.
  • How many edit drafts do you do?
    Within the Basic Film Bundle I offer one round of minor revisions (i.e. remove/replace shots). If you would like more rounds of revisions, that is possible at an additional fee.
  • Do you work alone?
    Usually. If I require a second shooter, that will be a pre-agreed Add On at time of booking.
